

It was originally serialized in Woman's Day as The Great Dog Robbery, and details the adventures of two dalmatians named Pongo and Missis as they rescue their puppies from a fur farm. Dodie Smith wrote this novel for children about the kidnapping of a family of Dalmatian puppies. Jacket is in very good condition and the artwork of dalmatians and other dog breeds is bright and vibrant. Spine panel has some faint marks among the paw prints.

Small scuffs to the top corners and a tiny closed tear to the bottom rear corner. Some light edge wear along the top with a small invisible closed tear to the front wrap. There are two flattened dog ears to the front flap and some minor foxing to the rear flap.


There are a few light splash marks to the reverse of the wrapper that do not show through to the front and rear panels. Some minor wear to the head of the spine. Illustrated dust wrapper with iconic wraparound design. Apart from the marks to the spine panel the book is very close to fine. Pristine contents with clean unmarked text.
